• No time limit.
• Builds are not permitted to change between rounds and matches (including spells).
• Before the commencement of a duel, contestants are given 20 seconds to test the latency by a 'warm-up' duel. The start and finish of the 'warm-up' duel is signaled by the shattering of a Lightning Urn. Contestants are also encouraged to use a variety of weapons during the 'warm-up' duel.
• Commencement of duel is signaled by an explosive bolt shot (or an alternate projectile).
• Contestants found to be cheating and/or utilizing exploits will result in automatic disqualification. An arbiter will be using CE to inspect anomalies (stats, effects, etc) of both contestants during their fight. 
• Disconnecting may result in a round loss. The decision to grant a 'reset' or a 'loss' of that round rests with the host / streamers.
• No 'pre-buffing' before the commencement of the duel. Contestants may apply a buff / buffs once the duel has commenced while being fully aware that they are vulnerable to attack. 
• In the event that contestants are forced outside the boundaries of the arena, the host / streamer will give them one second to return. The contestant will accrue a warning for each second that they are outside the arena. In the event that the contestant accrues three warnings (which may or may not occur in the same round), then the host / streamer reserves the right to disqualify the said participant from the tournament.  
• The round will conclude when a contestant's Tears of Denial (cast by the arbiter at the beginning of each round) has been 'popped'. This measure has been recently employed to reduce summoning times. 
• All contestants must confirm their attendance and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by ‘checking-in’ before the start of the Tournament. Check-in will open two days before the start of the Tournament.  Failure to check-in may result in disqualification, and in the event of this scenario, a reserve contestant will be invited to fill their place. 
• All contestants are expected to behave in a manner viewed as polite and respectful from the host's / organizer's and/or arbiter, fellow contestants' and viewers' perspective. This rule will take into effect at an unspecified length of time before the Tournament, in order to discourage contestants from behaving 'politely' for only the duration of the Tournament. 
• Shrimp and Ro_K reserve the right to specifically invite contestants to the Main Tournament. 
• If an invitation is sent to a potential contestant but they decline, then Shrimp and Ro_K reserve the right to invite another potential contestant to take their spot. 
• If an invitation is sent to a potential contestant but they fail to respond within a reasonable time frame (5 days), then Shrimp and Ro_K reserve the right to rescind the invitation. 
• Failure / perceived failure to adhere to the General Rules and/or Terms and Conditions may result in a warning / round loss / disqualification, depending on the severity of the infringement. The host / streamer and arbiter have the right to reset the duel in the event of this infringement.
• Shrimp and Ro_K reserves the right to amend any rule as he sees fit. 

Banned List:

• All forms of Healing Miracles (Bountiful Light, Bountiful Sunlight, Great Heal, Heal, Heal Aid, Med Heal, Projected Heal, Replenishment & Soothing Sunlight).
• All forms of HP Regeneration (Ancient Dragon Greatshield, Blessed Infused Weapons/Shields, Divine Blessing, Estus Flask, Ethereal Oak Shield, Gentle Prayer Weapon Art, Pray for Favor Weapon Art, Siegbräu, Sun Princess Ring and Warmth). These do not include: Anri's Straight Sword, Butcher's Knife, Lifehunt Scythe, Old Wolf Curved Sword, Pontiff's Left Eye, Smough's Great Hammer).

• Ashen Estus Flask: No more than 3 Ashen Estus Flasks consumed per round.

• Tears of Denial (this spell is automatically cast on you by the arbiter at the beginning of each round).
• Any buff that removes the 'Tears of Denial' effect.

16-Team Double-Elimination Tournament: 

• Contestants are eligible to win the Tournament until they lose two matches (not necessarily in succession). 
• The Double-Elimination Tournament is divided into two brackets: Winner's Bracket and Loser's bracket. 
• Contestants that win their first match are sent to the Winner's Bracket, while contestants that lose their first match are sent to the Loser's Bracket. Please note that a contestant in the Loser's Bracket can still win the Tournament. They cannot, however, lose another match for the remainder of the Tournament. 
• Contestants in the Loser's Bracket will continue to fight until all but one contestant has two match losses. The Champion of the Loser's Bracket is then sent to the Finals to face the Champion of the Winner's Bracket (Winner's Finals). 
• The Champion of the Loser's Bracket must win two matches in succession (Winner's Finals and Grand Finals) against the Champion of the Winner's Bracket in order to be crowned Tournament Champion. 
• Simultaneous death / Tears of Denial 'Pop' : the round is undecided and will result in a reset of that round.
• Check the BoN in the bracket.
