Regional Finals Auto-Qualification Exception: There is one significant exception to the above qualification procedure. In the event that any or all of the first place winners of the four Regional Final Tournaments already qualify for a spot at the Capcom Cup by virtue of finishing the Global Premier Tournament Circuit in the top twenty-six (26) placements of the Global Ranking Point Leaderboard, then the qualification spot shall be awarded to the next player on the Global Ranking Point Leaderboard from the respective Regional Final Tournament winner’s region who has not already qualified for the Capcom Cup. For example, if, following the completion of the Global Premier Tournament Circuit, the winner of the North American Regional Finals’ Regional Final Tournament placed at number 12 on the Global Ranking Point Leaderboard, the qualification spot will be awarded to next highest player on the Global Ranking Point Leaderboard from the North American region who has not already qualified by placing in the top twenty-six placements on the Global Ranking Point Leaderboard. Alternatively, if the winner of the North American Regional Finals’ Regional Final Tournament placed at number 27 on the Global Ranking Point Leaderboard, he or she shall retain his or her qualification spot to the Capcom Cup. 

리저널 파이널 우승자가 이미 글로벌 포인트로 캡콤컵 직행이라면 다음으로 글로벌 포인트가 높은 그 지역 선수에게로 직행권이 넘어간다.

예를 들어

아시아 파이널을 정질이 우승했다면 직행권이 아시아파이널 2위도 아니고 글로벌 랭킹 27위도 아니라 리지널파이널과는 상관없이 글로벌 포인트가 가장 높은 26위 밖의 아시아 선수에게로 감. 

캡콤컵을 가는게 글로벌포인트 26위까지+전년도 우승자1+ 캡콤컵당일오픈토너먼트1명+리저널파이널우승자4명 이기때문에

만약 글로벌포인트 27위가 북미 선수고, 28위가 아시아선수면, 28위 선수에게로 직행권이 간다는 말.

결과적으로 츄앙은 아시아 파이널 1위를 하지 않는 이상 캡콤컵 확정이 아님. 

리저널 파이널은 오로지 1위만 중요하고, 오히려 글로벌 포인트를 주는 전날 오픈 토너먼트가 더 중요할 수 있음.
