Crystrons are still a powerful deck after the nerf to Transcendent Crystals, but it may take a few steps back as TC allowed you to consistently set up an ideal board on your first turn. The optimal skill has not been decided, but many builds are opting to use Genex Undine along with Scrap Recycler even if they are not using the Sea Stealth Attack engine. Mythic Depths could become the default skill since it was a popular skill even before the nerf to TC. It is worth noting that Crystrons did benefit from the No Mortal Can Resist nerf and that the SSA variant specifically has a much improved matchup against Shiranui decks since they lost Cosmic Cyclone and NMCR. The semi-limit to Crystron Rion does prevent you from playing other cards like Enemy Controller, but this will not greatly impact the overall strength of the deck.

Blackwings and Crystrons are going to be the strongest 2 decks of the upcoming format.

BF과 크리스트론이 다가오는 포맷에서 가장 강력한 덱이 될 것입니다.

Crystrons may have been hit on the banlist on the form of a hit to Transcendent Crystals and Crystron Rion being semi limited, but the deck is still more than capable of setting up strong defensive plays and summoning Crystron Quariongandrax. Transcendant Crystals’ nerf means that the deck will be slower and slightly less consistent, but the power ceiling is unchanged. The Sea Stealth Attack version of the deck is likely the strongest version of the deck but Crystrons are flexible enough to potentially branch out to different Skills.

Shiranuis have been demoted from Tier 1 due to the recent banlist limiting Shiranui Squire to 3, which was their best starter. This stops Shiranui from having access to Cosmic Cyclone (another Limited-to-3 card) making matchups like Blackwings and Sea Stealth Attack Crystrons a lot more difficult. Combined with the return of Ritual Beasts(a previously hard matchup) the deck isn’t expected to preform as strong as before with the standard list. Some people have started using Shiranui Spectralsword Shade again to have easy access to Shiranui Squiresaga to out the Necrovalley play from Blackwings but there hasn’t been results yet.

With the recent banlist Shiranui Squire got Limited to 3, which means the deck can’t run Cosmic Cyclone anymore. Cosmic Cyclone as a regular backrow removal can be easily replaced by other cards like Forbidden Lance, but in certain matchups they going to miss the versatility Cosmic Cyclone brings. Against Blackwings it’s going to be harder to remove their Necrovalley from the field, and they going to have a hard time dealing with Sea Stealth Attack Crystrons without being able to banish Umi. The nerf of No Mortal Can Resist helps the deck because your opponents wont be able to turn Shiranui Spectralsword into Skull Servant, but Shiranui also lost their main weapon against Crystrons with this hit. The deck always had space for 10-12 tech cards, this can help them adapt to the meta once again, but for now, due to the rising number of their bad matchups, Shiranui is demoted to Tier 2.

최근 금제에서 시라누의 무부의 3제한화는 더 이상 시라누이가 코즈믹 싸이크론을 사용할 수 없도록 만들었습니다. 리버스 카드 견제는 금지된 성창과 같은 카드로 대체할 수 있겠지만, 특정 매치업에서는 코즈믹 싸이크론이 발휘하는 다재다능함을 놓치게 될 것입니다. BF전에서 네크로밸리를 더 이상 치우기 힘들어질 것이고, 바다를 제거하지 못해서 마찬가지로 씨 스텔스 어택을 채용한 크리스트론을 상대하는데도 어려움을 겪을 것입니다. '거부할 수 없는 운명'의 너프는 호재입니다. 덕분에 묘지의 요도 시라누이가 견제 받을 일이 줄었습니다. 하지만 반대로 시라누이 역시 크리스트론을 상대할 주 무기를 뺏기게 됐습니다. 이 덱에는 항상 범용 카드를 넣을 공간이 10~12칸 정도 있어서 이런 점은 메타 적응에 도움을 줄 수 있지만, 현재 시점에선 열세인 매치업이 증가함에 따라 2티어로 하향합니다.

Autumn Leaf

Ritual Beasts were an excellent rogue deck for the last MCS and eventually won the entire event. However, the nerf to No Mortal Can Resist will heavily impact Ritual Beasts’ matchups post-ban list as lowering your life point with Cosmic Cyclone and Herald of the Abyss was a key strategy against Shiranui and Crystrons. On the other hand, Thunder Dragons - orginally one of Ritual Beasts’ worst matchup - has been heavily nerfed, thus Tier 3 appear the most suitable for Ritual Beasts at this stage in the meta.

령수는 지난 MCS에서 굉장히 훌륭한 변종덱이었고 마침내 우승까지 차지했습니다. 하지만 '거부할 수 없는 운명'의 너프는 크리스트론과 시라누이전에서 핵심 전술이었던, 라이프를 스스로 줄이고 묘지를 견제하는 방법을 막아버렸고 이는 큰 영향을 줄 것입니다. 그와 별개로, 최악의 상성 중 하나였던 썬더 드래곤이 어마어마하게 너프를 먹었기 때문에, 3티어가 이 메타에선 령수에게 가장 적합한 자리입니다.

The initial power level of Blue-Eyes hasn’t changed much, but one of their worst matchup, Thunder Dragons got significantly weaker after the recent banlist. Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon is still one of the best boss monsters in the game, it totally shuts down the plays of the recently popular Ritual Beasts, also it slows down and limits the plays of Crystrons. The problems of the deck are still there, consistency is still an issue. However, the banlist left them untouched while most of the meta decks got weaker, meaning Blue-Eyes might be able to keep up with them once again, so the deck is promoted to Tier 3.

푸른 눈의 초동 파워 레벨은 크게 변하지 않았지만, 그들의 최악의 천적 중 하나인 썬더 드래곤이 최근 금제의 영향으로 심각하게 약해졌습니다. 푸른 눈의 정령룡은 현재 메타에서 최고의 상급 몬스터 중 하나이며, 최근에 부상하는 령수의 플레이를 완벽하게 카운터함과 동시에 크리스트론의 플레이를 상당히 느리게 만들 수 있습니다. 덱의 문젯점들은 여전히 존재하고 있으며, 특히 부족한 일관성이 문제입니다. 그러나 대부분의 메타 덱들이 하향됐음에도 금제는 푸른 눈을 전혀 손대지 않았고, 이는 푸른 눈이 그들을 따라잡을 수 있을 가능성을 시사하기에 3티어로 승격했습니다.

Ritual Beasts return to the Tier List due to the recent decline of Elementsabers which was one of their worse matchups, as well as Thunder Dragons being severly hit by the recent banlist which was another difficult matchup. The deck has al ot of good matchups against the top decks especially Blackwings whose Necrovalley strategy doesn’t affect them as much. Also, due to the recent change to No Mortal Can Resist, Ritual Beasts will likely revert back to using Sealed Tombs to stop Crystrons and Shiranui.

령수는 그들의 최악의 천적 중 하나인 엘리멘트 세이버의 개체수 감소와 더불어서 썬더 드래곤이 심각하게 약화됐기 때문에 티어 리스트에 복귀합니다. 특히 묘지 견제에 영향을 받지 않기 때문에 네크로밸리를 주력으로 채용하는 BF와의 매치업에서 상당히 유리합니다. 또한 최근 '거부할 수 없는 운명'이 너프를 먹음에 따라, 시라누이와 크리스트론을 봉쇄하기 위해 령수의 주력 스킬은 '봉인묘'로 다시 돌아갈 것입니다.

We considered removing Cyber Dragons from the Tier List before the banlist, but it could prove to be a solid deck still since Thunder Dragons, one of their toughest matchups, received heavy nerfs. This deck also has decent/good matchups against decks that could become more popular after the banlist such as Blackwings and Dark Magician.

우리는 금제 목록이 뜨기 전에 사이버 드래곤을 티어 목록에서 제외하는 것을 진지하게 고려했지만, 그들의 가장 무서운 천적인 썬더 드래곤이 심각하게 약화됐기 때문에 여전히 솔리드한 덱으로 남을 수 있었습니다. 또한 이 덱은 신금제 적용 이후에 득세할 BF, 블랙 매지션과 같은 덱들을 상대하기가 좋습니다.

Thunder Dragons took multiple big hits with the recent ban list: Thunder Dragondark, Charge of the Light Brigade and Gold Sarcophagus were Limited to 3. The new ban list means you can play 3 copies of these cards overall in your deck. Gold Sarcophagus was the main starter of the deck, while Charge of the Light Brigade enabled their explosive turns with the consistent mills, and easy access to tuners and Synchro plays. With the recent hits, the deck lost its already not too high consistency, also they lost their explosive turns and fast OTKs. The deck can still survive and do well on the ladder, with the addition of Aloof Lupine they can add some consistency to the deck, but they cant replace the consistent mills and tuner searches of Charge of the Light Brigade. The deck also lost 2 of their main skills, as Baggy Sleeves and Grit also got nerfed. At their current form, none of them supports the play style of Thunder Dragons, so the deck has to look for other opportunities. We dont expect this deck to do well, until either new support or builds prove it t, so Thunder Dragons are removed from the Tier List.

썬더 드래곤은 최근 금제를 통해 다중으로 타격을 받았습니다. 뇌전룡 썬더 드래곤, 빛의 원군, 봉인의 황금궤가 3제한을 먹었습니다. 새로운 금제로 인해 유저들은 상기한 카드를 총합해서 고작 3장밖에 쓸 수 없습니다. 봉인의 황금궤는 덱의 핵심 초동이었으며, 빛의 원군은 일관된 자원으로 폭발적인 전개가 가능케 했으며, 튜너와 싱크로 몬스터 소환을 용이하게 만들어주었습니다. 최근의 타격으로 덱은 높은 일관성을 잃었고, 폭발적인 회전과 빠른 원턴킬까지 상실했습니다. 덱은 여전히 살아남을 수 있고 랭킹 듀얼에서도 선전할 수 있으며, 고고제수의 투입으로 약간의 일관성을 보충하는 것도 가능하지만 빛의 원군의 자원 보충과 튜너 서치에는 범접할 수 없습니다. 또한 이 덱은 '배기 슬리브'와 '근성'이라는 주력 스킬 2개를 모조리 상실했습니다. 너프된 버전의 그 스킬들은 현재 썬더 드래곤 플레이 스타일과는 전혀 맞지 않기 때문에 다른 스킬을 찾아야만 합니다. 우리는 새로운 형태의 덱이나 빌드가 발견되기 전까지는 이 덱이 활약할 것이라고 기대하지 않습니다. 그래서 티어 목록에서 제외합니다.

D/D/D faces demotion as a result of not many compelling performances in the competitive scene. The deck is yet to be fully optimised and representation in the Top Cut of tournaments is always low or non-existent. D/D/D functions through assembling large monsters to hammer down on the opponent’s Life Points, often paired with strong backrow such as Dark Contract with the Witch and Treacherous Trap Hole. Dark Contract with the Gate is a great searcher as the longer it sticks on the field the more the player is able to replenish their resources - assuming they don’t perish to the Standby Phase Life Point toll that comes with it. Depending on how the meta adapts after the banlist, it is quite likely that D/D/D is in a better spot than it was prior to the adjustments: a rise in favourable matchups would give it a better chance to perform well consistently. However, it remains to be seen if that is enough to push the deck into meta-relevance. But as builds are further optimised that will become more clear.

DDD는 현재 경쟁 상황에서 그다지 매력이 없는 관계로 티어 목록에서 제외했습니다. 덱은 아직 완전히 최적화되지 않았으며 토너먼트에서 상위권을 먹으면서 증명한 사례도 거의 없습니다. DDD의 주력 전술은 발키리의 계약서, 교활한 함정 속으로와 같은 수단으로 상대 필드를 견제하고 상급 몬스터를 여러 장 전개하여 상대 라이프를 단번에 바닥내는 것입니다. 지옥문의 계약서는 필드 위에 오래 남을수록 많은 자원을 보충하게 해주기 때문에 대단한 서치 카드지만, 이건 스탠바이페이즈에 라이프가 바닥나기 전까지의 이야기입니다. 금제 적용 후 메타에 어떻게 적응하느냐가 관건인데, DDD는 금제 조정 전보다는 위치가 오를 가능성이 높습니다. 유리한 매치업이 증가하기 때문에 덱의 일관성을 발휘할 기회가 늘 것입니다. 그러나 그것이 이 덱을 메타의 중심에 다가가게 만들어줄지는 회의적입니다. 빌드가 최적화되길 기다려보겠습니다.

요약

1. 썬드는 걍 뒤짐. 이게 메타 변화의 가장 큰 핵심임.

카운터 카드를 맞지 않는다는 전제 하에 그야말로 만능 덱이었는데 주력 무기를 싸그리 잃어버림.

2. BF와 크리스트론이 투탑이 될 것.

네크로밸리와 바다(씨 스텔스 어택)를 건드릴 수 없는 덱들 상대로는 굉장히 선전할 것으로 기대 중

3. 시라누이는 코싸 채용을 못 하는 것이 티어전에서 적잖은 영향을 끼칠 것임.

성창으로 아쉽게나마 커버는 하겠지만 BF의 네크로밸리와 크리스트론의 씨 스텔스 어택을 건드릴 수가 없는 게 문제.

4. 사드는 금제 뜨기 직전만 해도 티어 밖으로 분류할 예정이었는데 신금제로 썬드가 죽는 바람에 그대로 유지시킴.

5. 령수 완전히 떡상.

선공 푸르가 펀치를 맞을 일도 줄었고 천적인 썬드가 사망했으며, 앞으로 집권할 BF의 네크로밸리에도 강하기 때문에 티어권에 복귀시킴.

6. 백룡은 여전히 정령룡의 파워가 강력하며, 다른 덱들이 채용하지 못하게 된 코싸를 굳이 안 써도 하얀 영룡으로 밸리와 씨 스텔스 어택을 견제할 수 있음.

그리고 다시 떠오르는 령수에게 강한데다, 최근 토너먼트에서의 호성적과 연결시켜 티어권에 복귀.

7. DDD는 포텐셜 높게 보긴 했는데 대회에서 도저히 성적 내는 모습을 못 보여서 다시 하이포텐셜 탈락.

그래도 최적화 빌드가 어떻게 나오느냐에 따라 가능성은 있음.
